The Global Need

  • 3 billion people remain unreached by the Gospel.

  • Only 1% of Christian giving reaches these areas.

  • The most effective way to reach them is by supporting local leaders already on the ground.

  • We invest in leaders who already know the culture and language.

  • We support frontline heroes risking everything for the Gospel.

  • We provide practical tools for church planting, discipleship, and evangelism.

  • We do not lead from above—we partner alongside faithful believers, equipping them with the resources needed to bring lasting transformation to their communities.

SGM exists to share the Gospel in the hardest-to-reach places by empowering indigenous Christian leaders who are called to disciple their own people.

Myanmar (Burma)

Myanmar, a culturally diverse nation, faces significant challenges due to ongoing political turmoil, instability, and poverty.Despite persecution, the Christian community is growing, and we are actively supporting this growth through our children's home and feeding programs in Yangon and along the Thai/Myanmar border, empowering local efforts to spread the transformative message of Jesus Christ and bring lasting change to Myanmar.

Nepal

Despite progress, many in Nepal still live on less than $1.90 a day. In this predominantly Hindu country, where only 1-2% are Christians, the need for Christ's hope is profound. The growing Christian community is bringing light to those in need, and through partnerships, we empower local ministries to spread the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, transforming lives across Nepal.

About Us.

After a decade of serving cross-culturally with short-term mission teams, we realized that the most Kingdom-minded, effective, and sustainable strategy for global evangelism is through partnerships. These partnerships connect indigenous leaders, who have received a call and vision from God, with resources and support from fellow laborers around the world.

In 2003, we launched our first indigenous partnership in Cuba, followed by Myanmar two years later. Over the past two decades, we've established ministry partnerships in Turkey, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan.

In 2010, we launched the Salvation to Children Project, sharing books that explain salvation to children living in poverty. “Mommy, What is Salvation?” has been translated into Chinese and Spanish and distributed in China, the U.S., and across Latin and South America.

In 2011, we formally established Strategic Global Missions, Inc. as the umbrella organization for these growing efforts.
